A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HOSPITALITY AIDE


As a Hospitality Aide, you play a vital role in our community. Without you, we would not be able to fulfill our purpose! You meet the needs of our residents, starting with prompting answering call lights. You provide care by passing meal trays, snacks and ice. With attention for detail, you assist with laundry, housekeeping, and assisting as neededing in the building. You take great care to observe and report any change in condition, attitude, reaction, appetite, and behavior that you find when interacting with your residents. You live up to the trust of those in your care by maintaining confidentiality and following Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) requirements as well as upholding our facility policies and procedures. Your warm and friendly demeanor makes it easy for you to provide excellent customer service and build relationships with residents, their families, visitors, and your colleagues. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HOSPITALITY AIDE


Must be responsible to meet the needs of our residents in a safe and caring manner. Follows established policies and procedures. Must be able to organize time and prioritize resident care needs. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations. Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others? Is being dependable, professional, and a team player at the heart of all you do? Do you enjoy serving and caring for seniors? Can you easily establish a good rapport with others and communicate effectively? If yes, you might just be perfect for this rehabilitation nursing position!
