Iroquois Center - Peer Support Specialist/Veteran Support Specialist

The certified peer support specialist will provide emotional support and individual and group services designed to promote skills for coping with and managing psychiatric and/or SUD symptoms. Will connect clients community resources. The veteran support specialist will perform the same roles with persons who are veterans, active military personnel, and their families, including connecting this group to the resources and activities required by the CCBHC certification criteria. QUALIFICATIONS: Has a high school diploma or equivalent. Is familiar with community resources. Possesses good interpersonal skills, an interest and investment in working with adults who experience mental illness, SUD, or COD and their families, and must self-identify as a present or former primary consumer of mental health services, with at least two years of successful recovery. Has the ability to work as a member of a treatment team in providing a continuum of services to consumers and their families. Has completed or will complete any required certification training conducted by the state mental health agency. Is supervised by a QMHP.

Iroquois Center - Health Coordinator

The Health Coordinator will promote and coordinate wellness services for Iroquois Center for Human Development clients to ensure a holistic, whole-person approach is taken with the clients we serve. This position will facilitate access to and coordination of the full array of primary and acute physical health services, behavioral health care, and long-term community-based services and supports. This position will work diligently to engage clients in all forms of needed care. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in social services or healthcare field or combination of education and experience this field that equates to 4+ years. Experience with Case Management or Targeted Case Management preferred. This position requires excellent communications skills for client engagement and community outreach. A high degree of professionalism and the philosophy of treating the whole person is necessary.
