We are looking for an IT Services Representative to provide and-user and network support to our business customers. Ultimately, this position will help develop our Managed Services offerings and contribute to our long-term business growth.
THE PERSON
Our IT Services Representative is self-motivated, comfortable working with a broad spectrum of technological elements and uses this broad scope of understanding to identify opportunities to serve both internal and external customers. RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will work in tandem with our Sales, Marketing and IT teams to provide direct support for our Business-to-Business IT services in our western territory. This is a hybrid position based out of our Haviland office. Daily travel within surrounding areas may be required; a company vehicle will be provided.
The job responsibilities of our IT Services Representative include, but are not limited to:
Business to Business IT Consultation:
Serves as a technical resource to sales team regarding network system requirements.
Researches products, services and pricing, and provides information to sales team for inclusion in proposals.
Assesses business customer network and/or internet system requirements and designs LAN/WAN networks and/or internet systems to meet customer needs.
Provides ongoing business customer IT support to include: network maintenance and monitoring, server maintenance and updates, computer updates, technical assistance and guidance with hardware, developing and maintaining security procedures, and assisting with email and antivirus systems.
Provides support to company IT Director on special projects as needed.
Business to Business IT Program Development:
Researches, plans and recommends new product and service offerings for business services program.
Coordinates with management, IT team, sales, and marketing to deploy new product and service offerings.
Documents and coordinates department policies, procedures, and standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Haviland Broadband is a culture-centric company that looks for the right person to put in the right seat. Preference will be given to applicants who have 5+ years’ experience in business IT services or network administration. Clean driving record is required.
